Home Manager - Nurse Qualified
Our client is a privately owned care home provider enjoying high occupancy levels across the group.
We are currently seeking an experienced Home Manager who is nurse qualified to manage our clients nursing home based in Altrincham. The home was purpose built in 2009 as a dementia and nursing care home. It has won many awards including the Trafford Dementia Kite Mark Award, Dignity in Care Award and the North-west End of Life Care Award. It was designed to re-create home environments while also keeping residents safe.
We are interested to hear from nurse managers with three years previous home management experience. You will oversee all aspects of the day to day running of the home. You will therefore need to enjoy being autonomous within the role. You'll not only have a flair for business and the drive to make a commercial success of the home, but also be equally committed to creating a nurturing environment for your residents and for your staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high quality person centred care for the homes residents. You will possess excellent leadership and recruitment experience, as well as experience with marketing and budgetary management. You will be able to communicate effectively and passionately with residents, families and staff alike.
Criteria / Person Specification
In order to be considered for this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with an NMC Pin.
> The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
> Good working knowledge of CQC standards
> The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families and visitors
> Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.
Our client is offering an excellent remuneration package including a salary of c£55,000 plus PRP of up to £5,000pa
